What do you mean by "full openness"? If this is literal, the solution to the challenge is not exactly feasible under the current, "normal" circumstances. Full openness of your data will always pose a great risk of anyone with mal intentions abusing it. If you want full openness, the only solution then is to raise the awareness level of the whole humanity to the level where no one has any mal intentions, which seems a bit utopic from a status quo. If feasible at all, it might take a lot of time to happen.

The data of the person with mal intentions is also out there, making their actions attract revengeful actions against them. If the information on everyone is available to everyone, it may reduce the risk of ill behavior since even that will be tracked and they increase the risk of someone doing the same to them. For example, no one can blackmail you if everything about you is known to all.

Full openness is giving out all information about yourself to the public by each person. Yes, that is the contradiction to solve: ill intentions risks vs. benefits of openness.
