Like a warm blanket but it cools you in the summer. I love to wrap up in the blanket like in a burrito, and in the summer it's too hot for that. So a blanket that can cool you a bit and you can modify how cool you want it to be.

Things to have in mind:
- blankets keep you warm because they do not let your body heat to go away
- cooling works in a way of removing the produced heat

So, we need a way how to remove the heat (inner and outer) away from your body. If covering yourself with pre-cooled iron blanket doesn't work for you, there are maybe some more practical solutions.

If you are not trying to avoid using electricity or want some crazy water-cooled blanket technologies (https://www.polarproducts.com/polarshop/pc/Cool-Flow-Cooling-Blanket-System-with-9-Quart-Cooler-p112.htm or https://northslopechillers.com/solutions/fluxwrap/), than the market is a bit more user-friendly.

On the other hand, if you want a "passive cooler", usage of materials that slowly warm-up or cool-down could be a solution. Maybe sounds too abstract, but some liquid or gel materials (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S187802961730169X) or ceramic high-temperature materials (https://www.mpg.de/1166083/Heat-resistant_ceramic) could be used, I guess.

You can always reconsider and choose a pre-cooled iron blanket, works similar to metal "ice cubes" (https://us.cnn.com/2018/01/18/cnn-underscored/whiskey-stones-review-shop/index.html).

Jaipur quilt (local name "Dohar") supposedly works the way you have described. It provides warmth in winter and is cool in summer. It is 100% cotton and the weave is called "cotton satin", which also provides a certain gloss to the cloth.
