Provide a bounty for the best solution

Bounties attract serious brainpower to the challenge.

There are often leftovers in the packages in which food is sold – this is ecologically and economically inefficient. Come up with a way to pack food allowing to easily finish all the food from the package, without cutting, twisting and other unsightly actions :) Examples: a drinking jogurt package, jam, juice, etc.

Rather than just packaging in one plastic layer, use two layers for packaging where the inner layer in direct contact with the food item is made of any kind of edible polymer, and the outer layer is plastic-based as in present-day packages.

If you can pull it off, make the entire thing edible. An edible container.

Darko Savic The problem with this (even if you could make such a container durable enough) is the contact with various unclean surfaces during different stages of handling. That's one of the reasons why packaging is used in the first place.
