A toy mimicking pimple popping that is actually filled with cosmetic material like moisturizer.
I actually thought I will have to sell this concept a lot, yet the main part of it already exists. I prepared the memes to prove wanting to pop pimples, even of other people, is a cultural phenomenon: 1, 2, 3, 4. Plus an article. YouTube videos of pimple popping get up to 115,000,000 views! This invention was even on Shark Tank.
But they don't include having the aspect of the fake pimples being filled with a cosmetics hydrating cream. Or even more fittingly, anti-blackhead, or anti-pimple cream.
Why?
People love popping pimples, yet it usually leads to an even worse state of the skin. With this product, they will get the satisfaction of release without the damage to the skin.
Popping pimples has anti-stress qualities and is marketed as such. Like a nastier fidget spinner.
With an added benefit of storing actual cosmetics cream that would make buying the product less weird, more socially acceptable. Less gross too.
Having the satisfaction of popping a pimple would make it more enjoyable to stick to your skin care routine. It would make the cream stand out from the competition.
How it works:
If the existing concept is used, resembling a squishy toy, what would be needed is to have a purposeful cream filling. But also to get a membrane like saran wrap that you overlay over the toy so that you would get that build up before the pop better.
My initial idea was to have a buble wrap like design where one side would be sticky so it can be attached to a surface for traction. Bubles have more space between them because you need to get thumbs in. Each buble has cream in it.

I'm wondering wouldn't the toy make the real pimple-popping even more desirable, because first you'd get used to doing it often and it wouldn't be so enjoyable afterwards, and then suddenly you see a real pimple - oh, let's try that instead.

Povilas S Maybe it would be possible that when you squeeze the cream out of the toy, the parts around that fake pimple turn red in order to remind you what will happen to your skin if you do it? That's another benefit of the product.

I like the idea of hydration cream and I think the main advantage of this idea is that it would make pimples more "natural" compared to a fake toy. Also, you could place the membrane on less sensitive skin, like your legs, so that you don't irritate your face with the sticky material.

Michaela D I thought the membrane should go over the toy in option one. Option two, just uses a sticky surface that can be attached to a wall, extra pillow, or a table. Not to the skin of the face. Maybe I wasn't clear in my writing. But it could be placed on legs, sure.
