Can we come up with an easy to understand diagram or infographic that summarizes the sensemaking process for the general public?

Sensemaking is the process by which we structure the unknown so as to be able to act on it. The process involves coming up with an up-to-date understanding of a shifting world. Then testing and refining this understanding with others through data collection, action, and conversation.

Such a diagram would be useful to share with people who you would otherwise dismiss as "too far gone to have a meaningful conversation with" (strong believers of a conspiracy theory, cult members, etc). Ideally, the diagram should be able to seed some critical thinking into an otherwise unreceptive mind.
