Pre-paid trolling service that anonymously sends nonsense stuff to people for years or decades.
Why?
A non-violent and (maybe) legal way of getting back at someone. Not knowing what's going on is psychologically worse than fighting.
How it works
A service that lets you pre-pay for a bunch of nonsensical items that are then randomly mailed to a specific person/address over the next several years. You don't even know/care what the items are. The service will ship 5-6 items per year, for a decade or more.
The service selects items that are affordable to send while maximally unusual.
How it feels
You receive something in the mail that you didn't order and makes absolutely no sense. The first time you write it off as a mistake. But then it keeps happening, at random intervals, for years. You keep receiving stuff that makes no sense to you. It looks like it's supposed to mean something, only you can't figure out what. How do you feel about it after 10 years? All you know is that someone keeps thinking about you, but you don't know who or why.
Listen to what this guy has to say. Hear the entire story, but especially from 5:15 to 8:15:

In what other ways could such a long term trolling service operate?

I think it's a nice, fun idea. However, won't it be wasted if you don't know what you did? If someone pranks me for 10 years and I don't know why or what for, I don't think it'll be much fun.
If I may, I think the duration should be much shorter - like a year. Also, at the end of that year, you should receive a note explaining why you've been getting the troll items and the person who initiated it.

Oguntola Tobi you'd like some closure at the end if it's for fun:) But what if it's for real? Isn't it worse if it goes on for years and there is no closure? You just know that someone is out there that keeps focusing on you and you don't know who or why they are doing it. You'd love to know what's going on, but you never get to find out.
In reality, nobody is focusing on you. The person who pre-paid for the service has long forgotten about it. You are the only one leaking brainpower about this. That's what makes it so bad.

I remember people used to prank each other back in the day by having an ad given out with a friend's phone number, advertising selling used farming equipment, so the calls always came from older people who lived in villages. Maybe sometimes the troll service would do that too, or at least prank call someone pretending like the trolled person has taken an ad. Although, in some places this paid trolling must be illegal, not just questionable in regards to ethics. It's a thin line.

I'm trying to come up with one idea per day for a year. While this one is ethically questionable, I'm running low on time and can't seem to come up with anything nicer for today...
