Solar-powered services on a cart. What kinds of services can you think of?
People regularly provide different services on carts/ cycles, etc. Recently, I came across a video showing solar-powered ironing of clothes on a cart. Ironing vendors are common in India. Most of them either use charcoal to heat the iron or electricity. Apart from the non-renewability of the sources, the use of charcoal also leads to health problems. Hence, the idea of providing solar-powered services on carts. There are apps for services. A separate section on solar-powered services could be introduced in the app to avail such services.
Why?
  1. Why a cart? - To reach the customer and travel in the Sun to obtain solar energy.
  2. Why a service rather than a product? - Solar-powered devices are not cheap but the service will definitely be cheaper since it does not require any energy. Service is the only thing the user needs to pay for. It will also provide employment to the service provider.
Other possible services:
  1. Ironing clothes
  2. Making fresh bread
  3. Sharpening knives
  4. Ice-cream cart (it will probably require more energy)

It might be too much energy to expect from solar, but it would be cool if street musicians could power their sound systems that way. If you use a sub, electric guitar(s), microphone(s), etc., the whole gear weighs pretty much and you need a kind of cart anyway to drag all this with you. So in addition to storing the gear, such a busking cart could have a large foldable solar blanket stuffed in it as well, the blanket could be mounted on a supporting frame and make a small solar roof over musician(s) while they play.
This wouldn't be a service in the original sense as buskers rely on donations, but it's even cooler that way. It would be very cool for such a solar cart to power a small Dj'ing station and for a busker to be able to play a solar-powered Dj set on the street.

Great! I hope solar energy can be stored in batteries when the musicians are traveling and used while playing so as to not rely on the sunlight at the time they want to play.
