Why?

Give your dog complete freedom from collars, harnesses, and leashes. Carry only the leash yourself. In need, the leash easily turns into a collar or a harness that restricts the dog in standard ways.

How it works?

The leash has two small carabiners and a few metal rins on several strategic positions. The carabiners can be clipped into position to create either a leash, a harness or both.

I like this idea a lot. It's always a pain to switch between harness and collar. I wonder if we could come up with a design where you can transition from collar yo harness without ever taking it off the dog. I'm sure there has to be a way.

Additionally I think it would be even better if it could act as a muzzle, because those may be necessary in very specific circumstances (taking the metro for example) and it's a pain to carry it all the time to use it every now and then.

Can we come up with a design for an all-in-one system?

Manel Lladó Santaeularia I can imagine a miniature backpack that is worn by the dog. The lead automatically retracts into the backpack when you don't want to keep the dog on a leash. A flexible muzzle could also be in the backpack.

I think this is a great idea. As an added feature, or simply to store additional lengths of lead, a compartment like this - https://www.amazon.com/Rain-Pet-Products-58604-Collar/dp/B007GCH3CI could also be added to the design.
