A mobile computer workstation that folds and follows you around. It can go offroad and traverse stairs.
Why?
  • No need to choose between portability (laptop) and comfort (full workstation). Have both.
  • Work in different locations around your office/home and get different ideas flowing.
How it works
A comfortable computer workstation that folds into a smaller size that fits through the door.
When deployed it could look like this:

Instead of being standalone, it would be mounted on a platform like this:

When it's time to move it would fold up to take as little space as possible and then follow you around. The platform could climb stairs and go offroad.
The workstation can be loaded into a minivan and driven to a nice location for a day of work in nature. Someone could take their workstation on a hike:)

It should be able to connect it to the car battery or any battery for that matter. Because carrying its own battery will make it heavier and it may not sustain the entire time you are out. Probably carry a few solar panels and make your own electricity if the weather allows it. Will it need more power? How do you make that available when you are outside?

The bottom part needs weight so that the entire thing doesn't tip over. It might as well be full of battery packs. It should be able to handle a few km of driving and a full day of powering the computer/monitors.

Really cool office-on-wheels, but what employees/jobs would you target with this product?
