A few locals who like to organize events form a private support club in order to transform their area into a lively fun place. Rule #1 is to do everything in your power to make your fellow's event a success.
Make the local area more lively and fun.
Increase the quality of life in the local community/town/city.
Increase the rate of locals meeting/socializing.
Make the area more desirable to live in.
The government would start spending more money on the upkeep of the area due to its popularity/visibility.
Help a fellow even organizer succeed by pooling each other's influence/reach. In return, feel secure knowing that others have your back.
Grow your skills as an event organizer within a community of likeminded people.
Several event organizers get together and form a club. They invite other local even organizers to strengthen their collective reach/influence. The only way to join the club is to have everyone agree on accepting the new member.
They agree on a set of rules:
Do everything you can to help make your fellow organizer's event a success. Leave a trail of what you did.
Honor everyone's dibs. No stealing of other organizer's planned event ideas. Announce it first, execute it first.
Don't expect people to go out of their way for last minute events. Announce them well in advance to get everyone's full support.
What else could be a rule?
The club members can come up with internal games and bounties that make their collaboration more fun and strengthen their relationships.
