The ratings of the users of a search engine can be recorded by the search engines. Search engine optimization (SEO) can be improved by putting the ratings of the site's visitors into consideration. The average rating of the websites will be shown along with the site's links when they are displayed as results by the search engine.

Existing SEO systems depend on parameters like how well-structured the contents of the website are and the website's response time. These factors can be manipulated to make the website rank higher while the website's usefulness remains unchanged. This method will make the ranking of the results of a search engine more accurate and some websites will want to make their ads and popups less annoying to avoid bad ratings.

The website links can be displayed in different colors to reflect the human ratings of the websites. Green color can be used to identify the most useful and safe sites while the sites with the worst human reviews can have red links. Such a system will make the use of search engines more efficient and safe.
