Imagine if you could monitor your food just by looking at the screen of your phone. The app will tell you if your food will start burning in a few minutes. This type of pot will make it easier to teach other people how to cook. It will reduce the time and effort it takes to cook. There will be improvement in the accuracy of recorded recipes since the pot will have the functionality of detecting the ingredients you add. It will also monitor the timing of your activities and suggest little variations in your cooking methods that will improve the quality of your food.
Your cooking procedures can be compared to that of the best cooks in the world. That way you know which things to work on to improve your cooking. This will give computers a better estimation of how food is appreciated by humans. It will also be a big step towards fully automated cooking.
The pot will be equipped with odor sensors and artificial taste sensors. Photosensitive modules will be used along with a light source to estimate the food's visual impression. These sensors can make cooking to evolve to a level were the taste of a meal can be deduced before it is even cooked. These simulations could lead to a lot of computer inspired recipes and the available food stuff will be used in a more versatile way.
The pot can be partly automated to add ingredients at a time of your choosing. It will also open more possibilities like accurately determining the recipe of a meal from its sample.

I have found a number of automated cooking systems that cover a lot of your idea. https://youtu.be/O0Hup8D5exE

The most sophisticated of these was the Moley Kitchen - https://moley.com/?target=kitchen_wizard. It's pretty amazing. I want to imagine that there is a human element that is needed for cooking, but I suppose the reality is that these kinds of machines will be able to follow recipes more precisely. So if the recipe is correct, the food should be perfect.

I would not say that they cover most of the idea I posted. The Moley kitchen you mentioned is much more advanced and more expensive than what I had in mind. The one in the video you referred, to is too simpler, bigger and less flexible.

The idea is not only to automate cooking but to make computers learn recipes, generate recipes, and teach humans how to cook. The idea is about a cooking pot that assists the cook and not one that completely automates the cooking process.
