The idea is to place cameras on the students or pupils as they interact with their environment. The camera will send the recorded footage to an AI or recognition software. The software will determine all the objects in the feed and lectures can be generated for the student to give them more insight into the objects' properties and uses.

I believe such an education system will be quite effective since they are associated with objects in the person's environment. It is easy to remember and understand concepts that are in a person's environment. There is a high chance of applying what has been learnt in the person's environment so that they enjoy the benefits of what they learn at an early stage; this will increase the student's appreciation for education.

The idea was inspired by this idea that says children should be taught about plants at a young age, especially the plants in the child's environment. The proposed solution should solve this problem for plants and other objects that are common in the child's environment but often overlooked in the pupil's curriculum.

I like the intention but I think a camera that follows the student will encroach on their privacy. Also, it is very easy to misuse the video feed and it is more dangerous than using the social media feed of the person. Maybe use some other inputs from the user?

Shubhankar Kulkarni I agree that always carrying a camera will seem to invade the user's privacy, this is why no humans will be involved in the process. It was mentioned that the software will do the compilation of the objects that lectures will be based on. The software that will be used is not very different from already existing ones.

The software will simply conduct an image search for the objects that the camera records. The lectures composed will be based on the objects that were identified from the search engine. After the objects in the recording have been identified, the recording can be deleted and no other records of the person's vicinity are kept. Strict policies can be adopted to make sure the user's privacy is not affected.

Shubhankar Kulkarni Lectures that are based on the user's location can be used, though it might be intrusive just like when a camera is used. It will be less effective in creating lectures since the visual input will be more accurate.

Samuel Bello Even though a computer reads it, the data could be misused later. But yes, deleting the videos after identifying objects and phenomena around the person may solve the problem. The object and phenomena could be stored for sharing relevant lectures with the user.

Shubhankar Kulkarni As for the issue of the client's data being misused later; this is a problem that is common to most technological innovations that record any form of data from the user's environment. The users usually have to rely on stringent policies that discouraged the involved platforms from sharing their information.

A method that can reduce the possibility of misusing the user's information is to not use the exact object that is in the user's vicinity but a different version of the same object. For example, if an SUV is the car in the recording, a sedan can be used in the lecture. This method may reduce the value of the lectures since it may be harder to relate the objects in the lectures to the ones they encounter in their environments.
