Sleeping is a great issue considering one goes with the day on their shoulders and the challenges of the next day.
What if it is possible to track and feedback backbone alignment in a manner that users can learn based on their own how to better lay their bodies at bed.
Is critical to achieve a good sleep and part of this is having a good posture.
A underbed sensor system and smart pillow, that can track in space user backbone position and with a designed interface influence the user to modify the position into a better one.
The ben sensor can be based on weight distribution but it could be studied with further detail. The pillow can have a matrix sensor that will map the head position (also could be evaluated multiple options to sense the head too). The main idea is to track body and head so that it can estimate the backbone orientation in space and based on orthopedic parameters and training data create feedback to the user to improve sleeping position.
The feedback should be designed in a manner that is comfortable to the user.
What do you suggest? How can be this feedback so that the user goes into a deeper sleep process? Can this improve the quality of sleep?
