A platform where people can buy short speeches made for them by freelance writers, videographers, and presenters. The work is delivered within 24 hours. The platform would be a go-to place when you need help speaking to audiences, whether live or via video.

Someone needing a speech can outline what they need expressing in a speech and whether they need:
  • just a written script so that the buyer themselves can perform it
  • just audio based on a script that the buyer provided
  • a turnkey written/presented speech (audio only)
  • a turnkey written/presented speech on video (with rights to publish it as is)
  • a turnkey written/presented speech on video (not to be published, only to practice so that the buyer can re-enact it)
  • a 1-on-1 mentorship that covers a pre-defined number of video conferences and mentoring hours
Freelancers can then bid for the project and provide short samples that help the buyer pick the right contractor.

The buyer puts the money for the service in the platform's escrow before the chosen freelancer starts working on the project. In case of dispute, the platform does arbitrage.

The price is fixed per minute. The platform gets a % commission for each project.

This would be useful to:
  • People who have things to say but are too shy to step up.
  • People who lack charisma. They can see their speech performed before they learn to mimic the performace.
  • People who are not good with words/storytelling but can perform what others put together.
  • and so on...
Sure, there are multiple general freelancer platforms (upwork, freelancer.com, fiverr) where you might get something like this done but none has a big pool of very specific talent this requires. I'm proposing a very niche freelancer platform similar to:
  • voices - you buy professionally created audio
  • 48hourslogo - freelancers shower you with logos even though just one of them wins
  • kolabtree - PhD freelancers that do secondary research, write reviews, check your work, etc.

It's a cool idea but sounds more like a cool freelance business. It could be easily sold on Upwork. I am not sure if we need a whole new platform just for this.
In order to create a platform, a cool idea would be to merge it with universities that teach law or social and political sciences, do projects with them and develop a so-called "speech clinic", where people are thought how to hold speeches, where you can rent-a-speaker or order custom speeches for specific use. It would be a mix between a soft-skills agency, a students' playground, and a sustainable business.

Juran there are multiple freelancer platforms. Some are general (upwork, freelancer.com, fiverr) but others are very niche. Examples:
- voices - you buy professionally created audio
- 48hourslogo - freelancers shower you with logos even though just one of them wins
- kolabtree - PhD freelancers that do secondary research, write reviews, check your work, etc.

What I'm proposing here is a go-to place when you need help speaking to audiences, wherever that might be.
