Young vloggers could offer people that are bedridden or terminally ill to do something they would want to do if they could. They would record it on video from a first person's view (helmet cam).
"If you were my age for a day, how would you spend it? Plan it out and I will do it for you on video."
During the first viewing, the "day designer" would be recorded while they watch the video. If the reaction is good, it would be added to the video and shared with the world.
Why?
  • Bring some joy into the lives of people who don't have much going for them.
  • Inspire viewers to do the same for someone.

I could imagine this being turned into a premium service, where the video is streamed live, and the customer can instruct the person with the camera on what to do, where to look, even who they should talk to and what they should say via an earpiece or real-time messaging.
This would also work well if paired with VR technology.

VR would definitely give a boost to this experience. Maybe the YouTuber doing it instead of the bedridden person, what if he would be more of a guide to him? It could also be his own friend or family member, to make the experience even better. Jumping with a parachute in tandem, counting out the bungee jump, driving a super car,... I think the interaction with another person that does the same would make it more real. 5G is important here as well to get max quality + lower lag out of the live experience. Recording it and showing later kind of takes out some things as you can't really be that engaged or rather be spontaneous and make choices on the spot.

Darjan Hren Yes, that's a perfect addition. The experience could be live via virtual reality goggles and the bedridden person could guide the camera wearer on what to do next.
